Our American history and literacy resource center will provide you with a wealth of tools and information to get young people excited about reading, writing, and our nation’s rich history.

The Resource Center features comprehensive Presidential and First Lady Fact Files that include basic statistics as well as selected quotes and achievements. Also included is an extensive annotated bibliography to encourage young people to read more about the presidents, the White House, America, and American history.

Here you also will find information on how to plan your own visit to the White House in Washington, D.C.; an annotated list of presidential field trip destinations near your own home state; and family and teacher guides to help you plan those field trips.

We will continue to add new resources to the site. Please feel free to contact the NCBLA (you can reach us at www.thencbla.org/contact.html) if you have suggestions and/or ideas that will enhance this resource center!
